Using Test Documents Correctly
Can I download the complete laboratory reports?
Not as unrestricted public files. Submit the project and proposed board specification so the relevant controlled copy can be supplied for review.
Does one report cover every thickness and finish?
No. A result applies to the tested sample or assembly described in the report. A facing, adhesive, thickness or construction change may alter the applicable scope.
Does an A1 board result prove a complete wall or duct rating?
No. Reaction-to-fire classification for a board is different from fire resistance of a complete wall, floor, SIP or duct assembly.
What should I send before requesting documents?
Application, drawings or assembly details, board series, thickness, required standard, estimated quantity and destination.
