View ProductsThree Product Systems
Sulfycor supplies chloride-free magnesium oxysulfate boards in three clearly defined series. Each series is selected by finish, thickness and the job it must perform.

For wall sheathing, specified fire-rated ductwork and SIP panel facings.

For underlayment, subfloor and specified single-layer structural subfloor systems.

MgO substrate faced with melamine paper or HPL for interior and modular-house walls.

Why the Binder System Matters
Sulfycor boards use a magnesium oxysulfate binder formed by the reaction of reactive magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate and water.
The binder is only the starting point. We match the board surface, thickness, edge and available documentation to the intended application and project specification.
Applications
Use the application pages to review where each board fits and which surrounding system details must be confirmed.

Review board thickness with framing, fasteners, joints and weather-protection layers.

Sanded boards for underlayment and specified single-layer structural subfloor assemblies.

Melamine or HPL finishes for interior and modular-house wall surfaces.

Non-woven boards used as facings where the panel design and core connection are confirmed.

Non-woven board for wall construction and decorative board for finished interior surfaces.

Non-woven MgO board for specified duct systems; assembly performance must be verified.
Quality Evidence
Sulfycor board samples have been evaluated using European, North American and Australian test methods. We provide the reports relevant to the selected product, thickness and intended application.
Testing experience supports technical review; it does not mean every thickness, finish or completed assembly automatically has the same classification.

European Fire ClassificationEN 13501-1 Class A1Magnesium sulfate board classified A1 for reaction to fire in a Sulfycor-applicant report.

Surface BurningASTM E84 · FSI 0 · SDI 0Approximately 12 mm board evaluated for flame spread and smoke development.

European Market ExperienceCE Assessment SupportPrevious board testing supported customer-led CE conformity assessment and technical documentation.
Additional Test ExperienceAS 1530.1 & EN 12467Non-combustibility and physical performance were evaluated on corresponding board samples.
Results apply to the specific samples or assemblies tested. Report scope and product specifications are confirmed for each project. CE declarations from previous projects were held by the customers.
