Non-Woven Finish Mgo Board

Primary Fit

Built for Faced Wall and Panel Assemblies

The non-woven finish distinguishes this series from sanded structural floor boards and decorative laminated panels.

01

Wall Sheathing

For exterior or interior framed wall assemblies where the board and system specification are confirmed for the project.

02

Fire-Rated Ductwork

For duct enclosure and fire-rated assembly projects subject to the required system design and test scope.

03

SIP Panels

For structural insulated panel production requiring a consistent faced MgO skin and controlled board dimensions.

Product Selection

Why the Non-Woven Surface Matters

This board is selected by its factory-applied facing and end use. It is not the same product as a sanded structural floor board or an HPL/melamine-faced decorative wall panel.

Sulfycor uses a magnesium oxysulfate cement system formed from reactive magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate and water. Share the intended assembly so the facing, thickness and supporting documentation can be reviewed together.

Quality Evidence

Fire and Sheathing Evidence You Can Review

Sulfycor non-woven magnesium oxysulfate boards are supported by current Sulfycor-applicant fire reports and historical wall-assembly testing.

Available evidence includes European A1 classification, ASTM surface-burning and non-combustibility testing, AS 1530.1 testing and a project-specific two-hour load-bearing wall assembly.

Wall fire resistance depends on the complete tested assembly—not the board alone.

E136

Results apply to the tested board samples and wall construction. Thickness, framing, fasteners, joints and complete assembly must match the relevant report scope.
