MgO-Faced Panel System

Magnesium Oxide SIP Panel Applications

Two MgO board facings combined with an insulated core for project-specific wall, roof or floor assemblies.

The facing board, core, overall thickness, joint, connection and required structural, thermal and fire performance are selected as one SIP system. Board test results must not be presented as the rating of the complete panel assembly.

Confirm the Facing, Core and Assembly Together

A complete SIP specification requires more than the term “MgO SIP panel”. Share the panel position, support, joint, span and destination requirements.

Non-Woven Magnesium Oxysulfate Board

Facing thickness and surface are confirmed with the panel manufacturer and complete assembly design.

The current WooCommerce range contains one configurable MgO SIP product. Facing and complete panel options are confirmed by project rather than represented as four artificial products.

Quality Evidence

Tested Board Performance You Can Review

Board-level reaction-to-fire and surface-burning results support material review. Structural, thermal and fire-resistance ratings for a SIP must be established for the complete tested or engineered assembly.

EN 13501-1Class A1 Result

Reaction-to-fire classification for the tested magnesium sulfate board sample.

ASTM E84FSI 0 · SDI 0

Measured flame-spread and smoke-developed results for the tested board sample.

AS 1530.1Non-Combustibility

Independent test documentation for the submitted chloride-free MgO board sample.

EN 12467Physical Performance

Relevant strength, durability, fixing and impact properties were evaluated.

Certificates & Test Evidence

Ask for the reports that correspond to the product type, thickness, intended assembly and destination market. Results apply to the tested sample or assembly.

Procurement FAQ

Questions to Confirm Before Quotation

Clear project information helps us match the board, available documentation and commercial quotation.

Which core can be supplied?

Core selection and density are project-specific and must be reviewed with the required thermal, structural and fire performance.

Are wall, roof and floor panels identical?

No. Panel thickness, spans, supports, connections and performance requirements differ by assembly position.

Does the MgO board A1 result rate the SIP?

No. The board classification does not automatically establish the rating of the complete SIP assembly.

What should be sent for quotation?

Panel position, dimensions, overall thickness, core preference, joint detail, quantity, destination and required standards.
