Non-woven magnesium oxysulfate boards are used as the panel facings. Facing thickness, insulated core, overall panel thickness, joint design and required assembly performance are confirmed for each project.

MgO SIP Panels for Project-Specific Assemblies
Magnesium oxide SIP panels combine two magnesium oxysulfate board facings with an insulated core. The panel configuration is selected according to the wall, roof or floor assembly—not from a generic SIP label alone.
Sulfycor’s non-woven finish MgO boards are commonly used as SIP facings. The board surface, facing thickness, core type, overall thickness, joint design and connection details must be confirmed against the project drawings and required standards.

Test Documentation
Magnesium oxysulfate board samples have been evaluated using relevant fire and physical-performance test methods. Board test results do not automatically establish the rating of a complete SIP assembly. The applicable board report and any required assembly testing are confirmed during technical review.
